Video game testing can be a fun and rewarding job! The testing of our video games to work out the bugs is an essential step allowing the Romanian studio to put top quality games into the marketplace. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for creating and running test cases, performing regression testing, verifying bug fixes and entering data into our bug tracking system. This position will provide functionality testing of all products and direct support to the assigned QA lead.

We are looking for individuals who love to play video games and have a keen eye for detail, great work ethics, excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:
UK/EU  Resident (Must Speak English as a First Language)
Working knowledge of current video game console platforms and related hardware.
Experience using the Windows operating system, Word, Excel.
Utilization of online services and the Internet.
Ability and patience to perform detailed testing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Dependable and punctual.
Superior verbal and written communication skills in the English language

This UK studio is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to support the Internal/External Development Staff and Quality Assurance Department by ensuring product quality with a strong emphasis on product testing, interface design, functionality and entertainment content. The QA Tester will also provide appropriate feedback through product evaluations and bug write-ups and be responsible for the testing of assigned projects from Alpha through Final product submission by performing the following duties:

Functional responsibilities:
• Assures that products display and personify Midway quality and performance

• Responsible for following test plans, test procedures and test matrices as directed by the QA Team Lead (SQAA) and QA Supervisor in order to validate and verify our products

• Follows through on bug tracking and regression testing with minimal supervision

• Supports software development with effective and consistent bug finding and tracking

• Assists in the creation and updating of QA documentations such as test plans, test procedures, test matrices, feature reports, etc

• Assists in the creation of documents for other departments as directed by the QA Team Lead (SQAA) or QA Supervisor

• Works closely with QA Team Lead (SQAA) to develop and improve testing skills

• Maintains awareness of current manufacturing submission standards, technical standards and changes

• Utilizes project related software applications to improve quality and productivity in the development process

• Maintains awareness of current software and hardware trends and consumer expectations, specifically regarding computer and console-based platforms

• Assist Marketing with trade shows, exhibitions, tours, etc., when necessary

This leading publisher of Macintosh computer games is looking for an enthusiastic games' tester to work full-time in the testing and QA of its games. We bring some of the biggest hit games around to the Mac and our licensing partners trust us to maintain the quality of those games on the Mac platform.

Prior experience is preferred, but not essential. We are looking for someone who has enormous attention to detail, technical proficiency, a highly organized approach to work and an ability to stick with a project until it is completed.

Most of your time will be spent playing through the games currently in development, but you will also liaise with both external developers and external testers in order to make sure that our games are released bug-free.

An enthusiasm for games in general and the Mac platform in particular is a strong plus.You should also be familiar with Windows.

This is a very unique role, as ideally you will be handling every aspect of game art, from concepts to character animations. Candidates should have a keen eye for faults, good motivation, demonstrate a good attitude and be able to clearly describe faults in step-by-step detail.
